The name of the game: grow the membership pool by attracting members with aligned values of fairness, inclusivity, respect, transparency, and a belief in the greater good. We went about creating a banking landscape that's more just and equitable. We 'inspired the underdogs,' to bring a fresh perspective and focus on "Member Owned" and instilled a fierce passion for doing right by the members and the community at large. NZCU is inspired to do more - they are Inspired For Better.

We revamped the brand and comms strategy to reflect our new position, rallying our internal teams and existing members around our shared goal of a more just and equitable banking system. This refreshed messaging was infused across all our branches, digital platforms, and social media channels, boldly proclaiming their presence and purpose.
