Irvine international carpet & flooring holds a huge share of New Zealand’s flooring market, with a wide range of flooring products from rubber flooring to custom carpets with unlimited colours. They’re known as an innovator, providing high quality flooring solutions with a proven track record.

We refreshed their brand in 2014 and pointed it in a brave new direction. Our research showed that colour plays a crucial role in the flooring purchasing process, and when analyzing their competitors, we found that their branding colours are neutral or low energy.

We’d found a gap to make them stand out in a crowded and highly competitive market, so we took it.

We developed a brand system using striking combinations of type, colour, imagery and smart brand language aimed at specifiers like interior designers, architects, project planners and property owners with a taste for modern design.

There now bold brand messages and splashes of colour on Irvine’s branded material, creating an energetic and dramatic point of difference in the market.
