Challenge
Westbrook is one of New Zealand’s oldest and most respected boutique wineries. They came to us to refresh their brand and packaging - they needed a precise and differentiating positioning and a strong brand presence.

Idea and Strategy
The brand mantra “flows from the land” was central to our creative process and strategic thinking. A creator brand archetype echoes through Westbrook’s tone of voice and brand language, where messaging celebrates the nuances and character of these highly crafted and complex wines.

Our packaging design maintained some of its predecessor’s recognisable qualities but enhanced for a more substantial on-shelf presence. The packaging communication hierarchy became brand led with our newly crafted Westbrook logo, making it instantly recognisable.

Results
This is now a bottle of wine you’d be proud to take to a dinner party.
