Savar, a grand finalist in the 2017 NZ Exporter of the year awards has become a truly international brand. Their prominence as a premium skincare company has continued to grow with innovative products including the NEW Savar Baby range.
Tasked with taking a commodity product and repositioning it into the high-end lifestyle we wanted to really appeal to the sophisticated shopper who would spoil their baby and price was no object.
Our packaging concept worked on an alter ego - baby within, yet sophisticated and stylish on the outside. The box packaging reflects the sophisticated shopper, using bright vibrant green with gold foiling, and embossing oozing quality and richness. The product packaging features baby hand and footprints, designed to emotionally engage and be fun - creating goo-goo moments. The softer pastel colours provide soothing and calmness, complimenting the gorgeous products.
Getting the right vibrancy and colour was critical in our strategy because we wanted to appeal to parents, but had to ensure we had a unisex product that would sit well with both baby sexes.
The products are designed to be proudly displayed - with the boldness of colour and print finishing making Savar Baby a must-have.
