Aotea New Zealand came to us to consolidate a number of house brands. Working with strategist Fiona Stevens to help develop Avoca, involved building a compelling brand story, visually transferring into a brand that would represent New Zealand and our dramatic landscapes and environments.
The main client interaction with the Avoca brand is through Aotea’s specialist souvenir stores, located throughout New Zealand. Our aim was to reflect the country, as it would be seen, sometimes raw and unadulterated and provide tourists with a visual memento of their trip.
We developed the Avoca brand and designed packaging for food, skincare, health vitamins and manuka honey, as well as clothing and accessories. The Avoca brand was then supported through an in-store point of sale, window visuals, in-store banners and brochures. We also designed an e-commerce Magento website.
