Campaign Development: Tanoa Hotel Group

How to fill more beds in Queenstown during the low season? We developed an integrated digital marketing campaign to hit different segments of Tanoa Aspen Hotel’s market at different times in the week; offering Monday Sickies (Free Monday if you stayed the weekend), The Babysitters On Us - families, Grey Power - for mid week occupancy, and Mates Rates - to get groups. This boosted room occupancy to 80% during the campaign.

Brand Repositioning: Bundy Juice

Bundy Juice, a premium fruit juices company in Brisbane Australia that punches above its weight in a fiercely competitive sector. To take the step up to a national launch, Bundy needed a brand redesign to get their bottles to pack a bigger punch. We threw out the tired and inconsistent branding and replaced it with a hard-hitting brand system of hand-crafted type, friendly brand language and vibrant photography. Sales grew 20% in three months after launch, with 60% over the next four.

Brand Packaging: PAL Legend Paintbrush

PAL is a market leader in New Zealand for painting hardware and tools, with innovative, quality products. Redfire Design revamped the PAL Legend paintbrush range branding to reaffirm its position it as New Zealand’s best trade-quality paint brush range. Using the established branding structure we built a few years ago as a framework, we deployed contrast and balance between colour and type on the brush casing to showcase the credibility of the product. The colour of the packaging was designed to complement the colour and textures of the brush, creating a product that exudes quality and class on the shelf.

Avoca is a New Zealand lifestyle brand specializing in fashion, health and beauty products. They focus on a healthy and natural life. The Manuka honey packaging was designed to reflect people’s experience in New Zealand and to provide a visual memento for their trip. The bright package stands out on the shelf and the gold and silver foil implies the premium quality of the product.

Brand alchemy: Dermalab

Actavis, one of the world’s largest generic drug manufacturers, came commissioned us to create a visual comms strategy for their new brand, Dermalab. We combined function and science to create the brand system that resulted in a clean and modern visual language that oozes credibility. We balanced the medicinal character of the packaging with hand-drawn diagrams and icons on their website and in their marketing material.
